The African American Quilters Gathering Harrisburg (AAQGH) is heading to the Philip Bongiorno Conference Center in Carlisle, PA for a fun weekend retreat June 8-10, 2012.
Participants are welcome to arrive after 11 a.m. on Friday, June 8, 2012 and can go directly to Motel D. Someone from the committee will be there to greet everyone and share room assignments and keys.
The work area is located in the basement of Motel D. Please note that a refrigerator, microwave oven, restroom, and water fountain will be available. Several participants have volunteered to bring the following: coffee, cream, and sugar; paper supplies; and an ironing board.
Since the first meal (dinner) will not be available until 6 p.m. participants are more than welcome to bring snacks. Please remember to bring enough snacks to share with everyone (there will be 14 participants).
The following meals will be available:
Friday, 6/8/12: Dinner at 6 p.m. - Dining Center
Saturday, 6/9/12: Breakfast at 8 a.m.; Lunch at noon; and Dinner at 6 p.m. - Dining Center
Sunday, 6/10/12: Breakfast at 9 a.m. - Work Area and Lunch at noon - Dining Center
Everyone is responsible for their own health and accident insurance.
